We reckon a well equiped kitchen needs just two graters. This is the other one. It's the Microplane for coarser kitchen use than the original fine Microplane zester. Carrots, turnips, apple, chocolate, cheddar, cabbage, and any number of fruits and vegetables submit effortlessly to its ministrations.
It works in the same way as its thinner brother - it cuts rather than tears because of a process called photo etching which creates the holes, without the traditional method of punching holes in metal.
Like its brother, its easy to clean, easy to grip (because of its non-slip santaprene rubber handle), and dishwasher safe.
