The Bloc 28 Disney Pen is designed by Californian urban art hero Steven J. Daily. In a homage to the designer's roots, it's packaged to look like a spray can. When unpacked, the pen's spray nozzle acts as the click top.
Mr Daily is a large comic fan. Appropriate that he should render this image of a skinny Mickey Mouse as starving artist. It's part of Disney's Bloc 28 Project which gathers a group of graffiti and urban artists together to re-interpret Mickey across a range of products - from jewellery to skate decks to trucker hats. (A historical successor to Disney's collaboration with Salvador Dali.)
And it all comes together for American pen company Retro 51 in a pen with a deluxe German-made Schmidt black medium point refill. Yay Mickey you're so fine.
*Don't be confused. You only get one pen, but we're giving two views for free.
