The Kikkerland Clap On Alarm Clock is the alarm clock with the bright LED display that can't disturb your peripheral vision at night and won't keep you awake with ticking. At rest it's just a silent block of wood – wood veneer actually.
With a clap of the hands or (more conveniently) a click of the fingers, the display comes to vivid life. Even a vocal command will do. The display fades to just a block of wood again in a few seconds.
Kikkerland is an American company famous for its inventive small mechanical toys. This is their bedroom debut, but it works just as well as a rare useful desk adornment.
