Zzzoolight Elefante (Italian spelling) lamp has a soft glow provided by its "warm" low voltage 12volt DC fluoro globe. He doesn't heat up, and is cool to hold. The globe lasts for 6-8,000 hours. *

* Official technical stuff : These 12volt compact fluorescent globes are easily available from lighting stores …and us. Do not try 240 volt globes because our Zzzoolights don't like them, will get very cross and not work
