The Redecker Dishwashing Brush is an old school and environmentally sound way to wash dishes. It's made from unvarnished beechwood with a soft natural bristle detachable brushhead. There's a hook on the handle for hanging.
The story of the Redecker brushware company is a good one : It was founded by the original Herr Redecker in 1935. He was severely vision impaired and like many with the disability at the time in Germany, he was taught to make brushes. Upon his death in 1986, one of his sons took his brushes to the local market to liquidate the stock. Frenzied purchasing led him to reconsider about turning his back on his father's trade. The company and it's old fashioned values now thrives in a modern world.
