Yikerz ! is a board game using magnets which has won the games world's most prestigious award. Players take turns laying magnets on a mat – without attracting others. Any magnets attracted are added to a player's own pile. First player with no magnets wins.
The game is a great introduction to the scientific principles of magnetism, and winners soon become very knowledgeable on the concept of negative polarity. It comes complete with interchangeable game mats, instruction sheet, and travel pouch.
Stangely, Yikerz ! is the invention of young American video gamer Adam Bain. He's now otherwise occupied designing software for Nintendo Wii.
