The Authentics Pen Clip is a long overdue way of sliding a pen into notebooks, diaries and calendars. It’s a stainless steel tube that slides easily down the spine of notebooks. A pen or pencil slides underneath its upper clip – thus keeping pen and notebook together.
The Pen Clip is produced by German company Authentics. Design is by their young German design director Stefan Diez. He’s worked under iconic German Richard Sapper before going on to do award winning furniture.
Diez is a keen journal writer and has previously collaborated with Moleskine, the journal and diary company. This spurred him to solve the annoying problem of having a diary but needing to scramble for a pen.
Two sizes :
Large = 9cm (upper clip) x 13cm (total length) x 1.5cm
Small = 7cm (upper clip) x 13cm (total length) x 1.5cm
