The Acme Studio The Beatles Please Please Me Pen and Card Set is a genuine collectable and only 1,000 of these will ever exist worldwide. This is official Apple Corps Ltd merch, making it something that Yoko and Paul both agree to be good.
The Beatle Please Please Me limited edition pen set comprises a rollerball and matched business card in silver plated steel with epoxy top. The pen is hand finished lacquer on brass, and major components are made in Germany by the prestigious Schmidt Company (suppliers to Dupont, Montblanc, and Dunhill).
Both pen and card case are laser engraved with their unique serial number. Each set is packaged in a paperboard box with original album cover artwork and comes enclosed in black slipcase.
Acme Studio is a famed American design company specialising in pens and personal accessories. This is one of a batch of three Beatles album pen and card case sets that Acme have released. Eventually all thirteen Beatles albums will be similarly recognised - in order two at a time. It has, of course taken many years for Acme to pull the project together. Ironic given that The Beatles recorded ten of the fourteen tracks on Please Please Me in just one day.
The Good Store reckons that Acme Studio have produced something of dignity here, and commend it as a very fine present indeed for a Beatles lover.
