Falcon Enamelware Pitcher
The Falcon Enamelware Pitcher was the choice of generations of Australian homes. The company was founded in England in 1920 and is deservedly being revived under new family ownership. In classic white. (Unlike the bowls and dishes no blue trim here ...just pure white. Apparently blue trim is too difficult to fo on the pitcher's curved lip...)
Enamelware is durable, smooth, scratch resistant, and easily cleaned. Falcon Enamelware has three layers of enameling, whereas the cheap camping shop versions have just a single layer which is easily chipped.
The enameling process has existed since the 14th century. The method entails fusing glass over other materials - most famously used in The Faberge Eggs. The Falcon Pitcher doesn't need to be locked in a vault and is much better if you're thirsty.
