It has a vent – a double layer nylon canopy which allows winds to blow straight through. Heavy winds won't turn your umbrella into a parasail, or turn it inside out whilst you're watching little league.
The Weatherman's an automatic opener which means you can open it with a single handed push of the button whilst holding other stuff in your spare hand. It's also got a rubber handle that doesn't get slippery when wet. And the fibreglass ribs and shaft mean you don't become a lightning rod when in the open.
