Royal VKB's Garlic Roller is the only garlic crush we know that is easy to clean. Dutch designer Ineke Hans hated conventional garlic crushers enough to create something she could use and wash up easily.
It's based on a classic rolling pin - a simple heavy stainless steel roller with a serrated barrel, which rolls to crush the garlic, skin and all. It also does the trick for ginger and walnuts.
The Garlic Roller is also an anti-smell device. It's made of stainless steel with a high copper content which will remove garlic odour from your hands when washing.
