Emile Henry Stewpot

Emile Henry's Flame Pots are a first – they're the first ceramic pots that go directly on a stove top. They won't crack because they've been glazed at extreme high heat. And unlike cast iron pots, you don't have to be Superman to lift them.

They'll also go direct from freezer to microwave to table - whilst cooking beautifully. Little nubby dots underneath the lid cause a quick and even evaporation return, allowing more tender dishes. Because they're made from the magical clay of Burgundy they have sensational heat retention properties, and keep a meal warm at the table for ages. Afterwards they'll go in the dishwasher.

 

Emile Henry's Flame Stewpots are lead and cadmium free, have glazes that won't get craze, discolour or fade, and have a three year warranty to prove how good they are.

The Emile Henry company has been making earthenware products between the vines of Burgundy, France since 1850. Their new range of flameproof ceramic casseroles has reinforced their title as the slow cooking champs.
