Emile Henry Roaster

The new Emile Henry Flame Roasting Pans are brilliant news for a leg of lamb. They're the first ceramic roasting dishes that can go directly on a stove top, thus allowing you to brown your leg of lamb (or a chook, whatever your fave) at high temperature, before putting your roast in the oven. The pan won't crack because they've been glazed at extreme high heat. 

 

Because ceramic cookware is so good at distributing heat, these pans will also deliver transcendentally well cooked roast veges.

 

And there's more: You can carve directly in the dish because of the unique ultra-hard glaze. Emile Henry Roasting Dishes also go direct from freezer to microwave to table - whilst cooking beautifully. Afterwards, they'll happily go in the dishwasher.
