Bob Cooper Survival Kit is the ultimate outback aide for trekkers, campers and 4WD enthusiasts. It has 32 separate components in one neat tin.

There’s a scalpel, flint, compass, fishing gear, needle, paracetamol, multi-tool), wire, magnifying glass, whistle, stock cubes, mirror, mini torch, tweezers, Condy’s crystals (for sterilising water)… and a host of other items.

There’s even plastic bags – when placed over tree leaves, they can capture moisture from transpiration. And not forgetting a simple teabag - after a cuppa, it’s good for taking the edge off stings and burns. And there's even more : even the kit's tin can be used to cook food, or boil up to 400ml of water.

Bob Cooper isn’t TV famous, but he’s a bushcraft legend to those in the know. He’s West Australian, but renowned worldwide for his skills.

Bob spent his early years as a pearl diver and commercial fisherman. In 1984 he put together his prototype Survival Kit and tested it himself in WA’s Pilbara. He took no food, just 2 litres of water and his Kit with him for a successful 162 kilometre trek.

Since then, he’s trained military forces worldwide, taught remote tracking, and consulted to mining companies operating in remote environments. And perfected his kit.
