Alessi Mr Suicide Bath Plug

Alessi's Mr Suicide can save serious scalding. When you accidentally put too much hot water in a tub or basin, you can now extract the plug without the endless fiddling.

 

Our little bathplug guy floats on the top of the water. Yes, he's outrageous, and so is the coffin-like box that he comes in. Mr Suicide is made by Italian design legends Alessi, and designed by Italian Massimo in 2000. He's built to last – the colour won't fade. The chain that attaches Mr Suicide to his transparent blue plastic plug is made from stainless steel, and definitely won't break in a crisis.
