The Monopoly Australian Here & Now Edition is the 70 year update of the Charles B. Darrow's classic board game. Monopoly estimate that 500 million people have played their game since the 1930s.
It's been updated for modern Australia , right down to the tokens – with the ubiquitous koala, there's a surfboard, a ute, a labradoodle, and a mobile phone. Railways have been replaced by airports.
Monopoly claims 17 million online suggestions for locations for this version. Surprisingly, Sydney didn't crack it, but Kalgoorlie and Broome did. Australians all let us rejoice.
