Max Brenner's Chocolate Truffles are the crown jewel of the chocolate world.
Truffles are considered one of the richest and most luxurious of chocolate experiences – at their heart is a ganache of whipped dark chocolate cream laced with cognac. It's then rolled in cocoa to add that hint of offsetting bitterness.
Chocolate truffles are named because of their resemblance to the the expensive small knobby round fungus. Max Brenner's don't look anything like that, because they're cubed - to go with their cubed tin. And they're ravishing.
