Legend has it that Turkish Delight was created by a long ago Turkish Sultan who commissioned his court confectioner to create a delight for the Sultan's wives. Other legend has it that Aphrodite made it to charm her lovers. Either way, it goes beautifully with a cup of tea...or just on its own.
Pariya is a fourth generation Iranian Australian company specializing in traditional Persian foodstuffs. Aside from basic corn flour & sugar, ingredients such as pistachios and rose water are sourced from traditional growers in Iran. These morsels of delight are amongst their most famous products.
