Annie Smithers' Lemon Butter

Annie Smithers' Lemon Butter is the reason they invented white bread (possibly). It's a hand-made artisan experience – just Lisbon lemons, and eggs. All mixed together by Annie to produce a little 300ml pot of spreadable delight.

 

It's made in Kyneton, an hour from Melbourne. Annie's been based there for some years, and recently gained a coveted Age Epicure chef's hat as one of our very finest traditional Australian cooks.

 

Annie Smithers' Lemon Butter isn't loaded up with preservatives and other fakers, so when you buy it you'll just have to eat it quickly before it goes off. What a shame !
