Lorenz Bolz Tops created the spinning top as we know it. They invented the spiral grooved pump mechanism which makes their tops go really fast. And they sing ! Air flows through the holes in the side of the top to create a beguiling hum.
The little base allows it to spin unimpeded for impressive amounts of time.
Since 1888 Bolz has been a small family based company based in Bavaria. They now outsource some production to China, where theres centuries old expertise in tin toys. There's no shonky toxic paint used here.
The 21cm Multi colour is Bolz's most brightly coloured singing top, and their second largest. At top speed, it's mesmerising for people from 2 to 92.
