Sticky Bowl won its heat of The New Inventors in 2007. It "sticks mixing bowls of varying sizes to the kitchen bench, leaving the cook with both hands free" – to quote the ABC's website. Add ingredients with one hand, and stir with the other. Easy.
What Sticky Bowl really does is help create perfect home made mayonnaise for Caesar Salads (or even gourmet burgers). It also allows the ultimate in fluffy but crunchy Pavlovas.
Melbourne chef Mauro Felici invented the Sticky Bowl. It has different sized sides for different bowls, it has little nubby bowl release knobs, it's made from dishwasher safe silicon, and is wonderful for folk with disabilities.
