Uberarc is a mega building model system for architects, engineers or anyone who aspires to be one. It comes complete with eight different blueprints, and a world map for site approval. There's also an online facility for registration of plans which are then loaded into the building approval, complete with seismic and wind loads. The Uberarc 1600's 1500plus pieces rise to around 1.5 metres high when finished.
This system uses a range of plastic units such as lochubs, i-stix, quarks, cubstix and bottlenecks to make modern or gothic masterpieces. It's compatible with Lego, Meccano, or any old stuff, and is great for spacial intelligence.
The system has only been around since 2004, and the company is based in Idaho, USA. Inventor Dane Scarborough is proving with this breakthrough concept that it is possible to have an extended boyhood - he was previously drummer in a hard rock band with Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue.
