The Empty Me Picnic Bag is one of the most adaptable carry-alls you'll find. It has its own built in waterproofed rug. It's brilliant for outdoor concerts , the beach, and is marvellous as a work lunch bag. It works just like a normal bag, but once you've emptied it there's a zipper system which transforms it into a 1m x 60cm sitting spot. Yes this is enough room for one weary lunchtime worker... or a couple of lovers.
As a carry-all, the Empty Me tote carries 2 litres of stuff. The tote itself is in waterproof nylon on the underside, and comfortable linen cotton mix on the top side. It's machine washable.
This was the first product from British company Empty Me. It was founded by former French banker Asli Bohane, who moved to London and retrained as a designer. To much acclaim.
