Scooter Girl is a Wind-up Tin Toy to be reckoned with. This is one of the very few tin toys with a woman in control. And her fine enameled tinplate construction means Scooter Girl's stylish hair is never out of place in the process.
Scooter Girl's mechanism winds up with a provided key. When let loose the scooter runs on its two wheels (and a cleverly discuised third smaller metal disk) for a full minute whilst regularly taking spontaneous turns - curiously, only ever to the right.
Our hero is made in India, and is a reproduction of a vintage East German original. She's 17cm long and comes beautifully boxed. Like most tin toys, children over 21 will love this. Children under 14 may need supervision - like icons everywhere, Scooter Girl is tough but not unbreakable.
