Tivoli USA's Networks Radio is an Internet radio which pulls in thousands of stations from anywhere in the world. All you need is broadband internet and a station that streams (practically all of them). With Wi-Fi or Ethernet, it only needs to be plugged into power.
You can get South African music stations, New Zealand talk radio or a 80s gay disco station in New York. Regional WA can pick up Your ABC's city stations - including Triple J and Radio National - in beautiful hi fidelity.
Tivoli's Networks Radio has an alarm snooze and sleep functions, inputs for MP3s and headphones. It's already wired up for DAB+ digital broadcasts which Perth's major radio stations have already begun. And the cabinet is made from proper hardwood not dodgy veneer.
