The Solio Classic Universal Solar Charger is the most powerful hand held solar charger on the planet. It can deliver up to two full charges to most mobile phones. It's totally core kit for any road warrior using a Blackberry or IPhone as a mobile office. Every sales rep and realtor, and half of everybody else needs this. To never ever run out of charge.
Solio is made by the British company Better Energy Systems using only sustainable and ethical sources. It measures 12cm x 3cm x 6.5cm and looks suspiciously like an IPod until the solar panels are fanned out. A supplied rubber sucker fits through the middle to attach Solio to a window either at home or in a car. It delivers one hour of mp3 music after one hour charging. Around eight hours sunlight will fill Solio up to full double charge level.
Solio comes complete with every conceivable product adaptor, so does away with the usual spaghetti of chargers and cables. Solio also offers a fallback because it can charge up by just plugging into a wall socket. Convenient.
The Solio Classic Hybrid Charger isn't cheap, but neither is your mobile phone, IPod, PDA, Blackberry, and other goodies. They all need charging, and this is the best - using just that lucky old sun.
