The Powerplus Penguin Torch is an eco-friendly torch which uses up no batteries. The LED globe lasts for ever (well, 100,000 hours). He's an environmentally sensitive light for littlies going travelling, or even making a late night toilet trip. One minute of squeezing his little wing gives five minutes shine time, with a range of 20 metres. Between trips he'll stand up on his own two little feet.
You can tell little people that it works on magic, but really it's all because of sophisticated science involving a built in dynamo and re-chargeable NiMH battery. Our Penguin is made by the pioneering Dutch pro-Green company Powerplus. We call our torch Percy the Penguin as a mark of respect to a WA TV pioneer.
