The Riedel "O" Decanter is the decanter that's most fun to pour. It has an exaggerated punt (the concave bit in the base) which allows you to insert your thumb, cup the base in the palm of your hand, and pour. It's also much easier to pour across a dinner table because you're holding the base and not the throat.
Riedel have been making the world's finest wine glasses in Austria since 1756. A few years ago they initiated the concept of stemless wine glasses - a more casual glass for casual times, but with the same high standards. The "O" Decanter is the companion piece to that range. It holds a 750ml bottle of wine and stands 22cm tall. Whilst still being 24% lead crystal, it's a little more sturdy to use. And a total joy to hold.
