The Built Laptop Portfolio is the laptop protective carrier with a removable strap. Even its manufacturer describes this as a classic - up there with the little black dress and The Great Gatsby.
There's also an exterior pocket for extra storage such as files. Like Built NY's other products the Laptop Portfolio is made from wetsuit neoprene. It's 5mm neoprene, rather than the cheaper and less protective 3mm neoprene found elsewhere.
The characteristic Built NY dog bone shape means extra corner cushioning to protect against drops.
