The Ego Olive Bowl is an olive bowl that allows olives to drain prior to serving. It does this by the ingenious method of having a hole in its lacquered bamboo spoon. When not in motion, the spoon sits neatly on a peak in the centre of its porcelain bowl.
The Ego Design Company is based in Denmark. They retained designer Steffen Schmelling to create this. His previous designs range from an MP3 Player for Bang & Olufsen, and a life size rhinoceros for the World Wildlife Foundation. He also did the wonderful Wizard Bowl for Ego. IF Design Prize 2010
