The Live Capture Mousetrap is the kinder gentler mousetrap. It's a no-mess, non violent, non-poisonous, childsafe, rodent solution.
It's a plastic elbow with a 30 degree bend and a removeable rear cap. Peanut paste is stuck in the cap, and the trapdoor is opened. The mouse enters in search of the peanut paste, and when it passes halfway the elbow rocks. And the trapdoor shuts. All up, the trap is around 15cm long and 4cm wide and we suggest placing it against a wall on something non-slippery so it can't move too much when mousey is inside)
Disposal is of your choosing – from plopping the little critter into your Sulo (please, not in summer), to reuniting the mouse with the great outdoors somewhere away from your place. Experts suggest it needs to be a kilometre away or it will find its way back, just the same as a faithful pooch.
The Live Capture Mousetrap was invented in the 1980s by a retired Idaho rancher Mel Melton. He originally called it the Trap-Ease. That was millions of dollars ago.
Crucial Trivia : Mel Melton reckons that cheese is dreadful mousebait, unless it's limberger.
