The Gorillatorch is a very bright hands-free torch with flexible wrap-around magnetic legs that stick to metal and wrap around anything else. He doesn't wash dishes or sweep floors, but he's helpful for camping, power outages, extra lighting for outside dining, and for directed light in car emergencies (the magnetic rubberised feet let it stick to the car without scratching the duco).
The Gorillatorch lights up to 65lumens, which is as much as a dolphin torch at a fraction of the size and with a dimmer switch. It's three AA batteries will last from 20 to 80 hours depending on intensity used.
American company Joby produce the Gorillatorch. He's part of an extended product family that they're slowly releasing based on their iconic bendable Gorillapod camera tripod. We love the fact that you can hold this torch in the usual way, but then wrap it around your wrist, bike handlebars, or a baby stroller.
