Deejo Tattoo Pocket Knife
Deejo Tattoo Knife is a folding pocket knife descended from old school cub scout knives, but with a contemporary re-fit. The distinctive tattoo designs make these a product of personal expression as well as purpose.
These are the creation of two Frenchmen - Luc Foin was a lover of everyday objects, and Stephane Lebeau was a lover of the outdoors. They were originally commissioned to make a pocket knife by Baladeo, one of the world's premier specialist hiking and outdoor equipment companies.
It was in 2010 that the duo started their own Deejo company. In 2015 they released their unique Tattoo knives – laser engraved not to fade. With designs to acknowledge significant tattoo motifs from across the world and the ages.
Each Deejo knife blade is made from hollow ground 420 matte stainless steel – this has a 12% chrome content and is stronger than the regular 410 stainless steel.
The folding lock on a Deejo is called a liner lock. It's a spring lock mechanism, originally trademarked in 1989, as a development on classic cub scout folding knives. It opens and closes easily, whilst remaining safe.
Deejo Tattoo Knives have handles in several beautiful woods. All are very light, and have a belt/money clip to add to their sheer practicality. And did we mention their good looks ?
