Description
Dr Skud is really cheap high design. If you look hard you can see a face in the fly swat. The face belongs to its French creator Philippe Starck – the 21st Century’s most acclaimed designer (he’s designed everything from New York’s Paramount Hotel to the Juicy Salif citrus juicer).
Starck has referred to Dr Skud as a ‘household scarecrow’. Whilst flies have an ugly time, Dr Skud stands 44cm high on tripod feet looking stylishly threatening. Importantly, he kills flies without nasty insecticides.
