Description
Barrel of Monkeys is the genuine retro article. As developed in 1965, and made by Milton Bradley. There are twelve monkeys in each multi-purpose plastic barrel. It doubles as monkey lair, using the first monkey to pull other monkeys out one by one by their S shaped arms in a chain.
Like most simple games there’s a higher meaning – Barrel of Monkeys can help in understanding areas of science from protein structures to polyhedral helixes.
This is the perfect present for a miserable git colleague because it’s inexpensive and every monkey in the barrel has a gleeful grin which some people find intensely annoying.
Crucial trivia : the monkeys herein are definitely not chimpanzees since chimps don’t have a tail.
