Description
Corkcicle is an award winning wine chilling bottle stopper. It keeps cold bottles that way without a messy ice bucket – useful in hot Australian climes. And it will also bring over-warm ‘room temperature’ reds down to their appropriate drinking temperature.
Corkcicle was perfected in 2010 by Florida inventor Ben Hewitt. It’s effective because chilling happens from the inside thanks to a BPA free plastic insert filled with gel. A couple of hours in the freezer and the Corkcicle is ready for use. Afterwards a rinse under the tap, back into the freezer, and endless re-use…
The stopper’s top is actually cork. Something all those Australian stelvin screwtop bottles may be delighted to see again.
