The Lamy Pico Pen is the ultimate compact pocket or purse pen for the urban traveler. It’s perfect for any situation when you only have one hand free and need to make an important note.
Unlike other compact pens Pico works effortlessly one-handed because you don’t need to take off a cap, nor do you need to twist to engage the tip. The Pico takes a Lamy M22 compact Ballpoint re-fill which despite its tiny size, writes as long as a regular pen, and doesn’t bleed – even when a highliter is used over it.
The prefix Pico means tiny (a pico-second is a trillionth of a second) and is thus an apt name for a pen which is only 9.4cm long with the tip withdrawn. A click of the top sees the tip pop out of the other end, and the length extends to 12cm long. Did we mention that this is a very fun thing to do ? Pico has a medium black refill, and other refills are available.
Pico even has a raised logo to stop the pen rolling off desks. Not that it’ll often make it that far, because its telescoping click action action makes it so useful away from your desk. For those occasions, it comes with a genuine leather pouch.
