Lingo playing cards are made to learn the basics of a new language by travelling and simply playing cards. Each standard sized deck has common useful phrases for each language – along with a phonetic English translation.
The idea for Lingo Cards came to West Australian surfer Keaton White in San Salvador (really!). He developed the Lingo concept to learn Spanish…and it worked. He figured it was a more fun way to learn a language than books, CDs or Apps, and expanded his idea. He’s now ready to go to non-Spanish speaking places too.
Who’d’ve thought that playing card games could make someone a better traveller ?
