The Opinel #10 Folding Pruner is a legendary knife – this is the knife of choice in all those french vineyards. Whilst it’s made in France, it’s one of the most used knives in Holland’s massive tulip industry. And it’s a brilliant knife in Australian gardens
This is light, and fits easily into pockets. The blade is 10cm long and is sharpened on both sides, making it suitable for left and right handers.
The Pruner does, of course, feature Opinel’s famous Virobloc safety locking ring to keep the blade locked either open or shut. The blade is in Sandvik stainless steel to resist garden moisture, and the curved handle is made from beechwood. It features a grommet for lanyard attachment at the end of the handle.
As its name suggests, this is terrific for pruning. And it’s a must for other trimming and grafting.
