Original Guillow Rubber Band Balsa Plane is fun for pilots of all ages – just wind up the elastic band by turning the propellor, then release. The famous shiny red propeller whirls, and the little plane flies through the air.
The skill of the pilot determines the length of the flight.
Paul K. Guillow was a WW1 Navy pilot. He started his model plane company in Massachussetts USA in 1926. Upon his death in 1951, the company was continued by his widow Gertrude – to enormous success.
Guillow flyers are still made in Massachussetts, but are nowadays made of sustainably balsa wood from Ecuador.
They’re literally good old-fashioned fun.
