Sid Gunner Pomade is the made-in-Australia way to looking like a well kept male. It keeps quiffs, beards, moustaches, and sideburns in shape, and adds log life moisturisers to prevent hair generally from drying out.
It’s a medium hold, medium gloss product which, importantly, is non-greasy to touch and (unlike many other pomades) is water soluble.
Sid Gunner Luxe Pomade is a Victoria Park creation. It’s the invention of the famed tattooed Tony, proprietor of Barber’s Lane Barber’s shop. He’s one of the few barbers anywhere with a permanent overflow waiting area.
Tony named his pomade after his son – first name because it was a favoured turn-of-the-20th-century name, and Gunner because it’s the name that Motley Crew songwriter Nikki Sixx gave to his own son.
You might have to join the queue for Tony to cut your hair, but you don’t have to queue at The Good Store to buy the beautiful pomade he’s formulated after many years of hair care.
That luscious red colour comes from pomegranate, by the way… oh, and it’s vegan…
