Swedish Dishcloths are the way to avoid using disposable wipes and paper towels. Those clean Swedish people think we’re weird for using anything else.
Swedish dishcloths are completely bio-degradable, replace up to 17 rolls of paper towels, absorb 15 times their weight in water, and can be washed up to 200 times (about a year).
They also don’t get smelly like sponges, and are more sanitary – because they’re thinner and dry quicker, they stop bacteria spreading. They wash things and wipe counters perfectly, and are the best thing for wiping glasses, because they’re streak free.
Let them air dry because they do it so quickly. (Don’t try tumble drying, you may look foolish)
The material in our wholesome Swedish Dishcloths was invented in 1949 by Swedish civil engineer Curt Lindquist. It’s made of 30% cotton and 70% cellulose (the main structural component of plants). Water based inks are used for patterns, and every process is chlorine free.
Swedish Dishcloths are supremely useful, good for the planet, and have designs to make anyone smile. And are easy to post – the perfect gift !
